Fairhill House Hotel is a tastefully refurbished, family run hotel located in the quaint village of Clonbur, which sits in Galway’s stunning Connemara region. The hotel is 1 mile from both Lough Corrib and Lough Mask making it a fisherman's paradise and a walker's heaven.

Run by the Lynch family from 1830 until it was bought by new owners in the summer of 2023, Fairhill House has a reputation for providing excellent hospitality, authentic cuisine and comfortable rooms. The 20 ensuite guest rooms have TV, hairdryer, WiFi access, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Additionally, six rooms boast terraces with views of the mountains and surrounding countryside.

While staying at Fairhill House, guests can indulge in scrumptious cuisine at the hotel restaurant. The award winning chefs prepare a range of traditional and international dishes, ranging from morning Irish breakfasts to seafood chowder and great steaks later in the day. After dinner, visitors can drop into Barr Na Sráide Gastropub, a modernised traditional bar that serves food throughout the day as well as a range of beverages. The bar features regular live music at the weekend.

Fairhill House is also an ideal location for weddings in Connemara. The hotel typically caters for no more than one reception per week, so each event gets personalised attention. The hotel’s function room can cater for up to 200 people with a secure onsite car park.
