Farmstead Lodge is located at the foot of Irelands' highest mountains, the MacGillycuddys' Reeks and the peak of Carrantuohill.
Farmstead Lodge is furnished to a very fine standard, offering a sophisticated yet homely feel, to make the visit as enjoyable and memorable as possible. Guests are assured of a warm welcome, with complimentary refreshments. All bedrooms have private bathroom, and there is a private guest lounge and dining room. The large garden has a picnic area and a barbecue, and there is a large, private car park.
The setting of Farmstead Lodge is truly idylic, with breathtaking mountain views and rolling countryside making it an ideal base for touring the South West counties of Ireland, an area which contains attractions such as the world-famous Ring of Kerry, the charming town of Killarney, the scenic Dingle Peninsula, and the historic Blarney Castle and Cork city. Restaurants and pubs are ten minutes drive, unspoiled beaches and horse riding are a 20 minutes drive. There are many fine golf courses close by, as well as plenty of rivers and lakes for fishing.
