"Gleann Fia" (Glen of the deer) is a quiet Victorian style country house located 2km from Killarney town centre.

"Gleann Fia" is a Victorian style country house situated on acres of gardens with woodland and river, located 2km from Killarney town centre.

The guest facilities on ground entrance floor include reception area, lounge, conservatory and breakfast room. All ensuite guest bedrooms, WiFi, Satellite TV/Radio are individually decorated with antiques furnishings and all overlooking the natural surrounds of woodland and river.

The guest lounge with open fire, complete with reading, DVD classical movies and CD music libraries all for guest use. In the conservatory complimentary tea/coffee, snacks and a chilled honour bar. Secure WiFi is available throughout the property.

For breakfast, a daily buffet of inhouse and locally produced foods, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits, juices, local cheeses, salami, homemade breads, raspberry jam, marmalade and honey from the garden Apiary. Breakfast is cooked to order.

The parking at Gleann Fia Country House is secure for overnight cars, motor bikes and cycles.

Killarney town could be best described as a town within a park, used as a base for exploring the National Park, Muckross House and Gardens, Muckross Abbey, Killarney House, Ross Castle, Torc Waterfall, The Gap of Dunloe and The Lakes of Killarney.

Scenic driving routes to The Ring of Kerry, Dingle and Beara Peninsulas. Each of these peninsulas is a leisurely one day drive with car or motorbike.

For outdoor activities, nearby Championship golf links and parkland courses, lake, river fishing and hill walking. Guided tours on the Kerry Reeks with Corran Tuathail Ireland's highest mountain.
