Gleann Treasna House is beautifully located overlooking Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. You can be assured of personal friendly service and helpful advice.

Gleann Treasna offers very comfortable accommodation in a peaceful and tranquil location yet close enough to all the local attractions and amenities. Gleann Treasna comprises of one double ensuite room, one family ensuite room and one standard room with a bathroom nearby. You can start your day with a full Irish breakfast or perhaps with one of the healthy alternatives before you take the ferry to the Aran Islands, which is just a ten minutes walk away.

If you are feeling energetic there is golf, hill walking, fresh water and deep sea fishing nearby with many beautiful beaches to explore. Rossaveal has pubs, restaurants, shops and a bank.

The Rugged Aran Islands lie just outside Galway Bay and just miles from the Clare coast and the Cliffs of Moher on the West coast of Ireland. Take a day trip and travel by ferry or air. Ferries operate to the Islands from Doolin in Co. Clare and Rossaveal in Co Galway. Flights leave from Inverin in Connemara. Loved by every visitor, the Aran Islands are three of the most unspoilt Islands in the Atlantic. The last outpost of traditional Irish culture.

Each of the Islands, Inis Oírr, Inis Meain and the largest Inis Mór has its own individual character and is a favourite for biking. All natives speak Irish. You will find ancient forts, churches and monuments on all three Islands. The flora and fauna is also different on each.
