This five acre Caravan Club affiliated site is situated in the heart of one of the most picturesque valleys in Ireland - the secluded and beautiful Glen of Aherlow and lies between the dramatic Galtee Mountains, Ireland's highest inland mountain range, and the wooded slopes of Slievenamuck.
Known for its peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, this four star Park is within easy walking distance of Coach Road Inn, Tourist Office, Nature Park, and Aherlow House Hotel. National Loop Walks are readily accessible from the Park. Bicycle and E-Bike hire available. Maps are available for walking routes, hiking trails, lake walks, and cycle routes. Guests may test their mountain-biking skills at Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Park (winner of European Sport Tourism Venue 2015). Other activities in the area include horse riding, golf and fishing.
Alternatively, guests may choose to sit back, relax and enjoy the ever changing vista of the Galtee Mountains.
Visit the nearby Heritage Towns of Tipperary, Cashel, Cahir, and Lismore. Local attractions include Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, Swiss Cottage, Mitchelstown Caves, Lough Gur, and the Great Grange Stone Circle.
Open all year, facilities include large and level pitches - both hard-standing and grass - each with 10 amp electric hook-up and water supply. There is a modern sanitation block, free hot showers, campers’ kitchen, laundry, recreation room, and TV room. There is a fully-equipped wheelchair-accessible separate suite, motorhome service point and small shop with basic provisions. Free WiFi is available throughout the Park. Late night visitors are catered for in a late night arrivals’ area with electric hook-up and water. Dog walk on site. The Park is secured by electronic barrier.
