Glenview Lodge is a farmhouse situated in its own private grounds in the heart of picturesque rural West Limerick.

The house is approached via long driveway offering spectacular views of the local countryside. Enjoy the local Broadford Ashford Walking Trails and the Limerick Greenway.

The ideal location for touring Limerick, Cork, Clare, Kerry and Tipperary and travelling The Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland’s Ancient East.

The house in its tranquil setting among mature gardens which include children play area and some ancient beech trees combine the charm of an old farmhouse with high quality accommodation. The gardens offer the ideal setting for outdoor dining. The highest standard of accommodation is provided whilst retaining the building’s old traditional character and without losing its authenticity. Complementary WiFi is also available. Experience the real Ireland at Glenview Lodge and in the evening relax if front of a wood burning stove where family records go back to 1685.

The house can accommodate five guests in one double ensuite bedroom, a twin room and a single room. It also features a spacious living room, traditional kitchen with modern fittings, a main bathroom and a ground floor toilet.

Glenview Lodge is 2km south from Broadford Village, where you can visit the wild life arboretum, do your shopping and have a drink in the local pub. The village also includes restaurant, church and children’s playground. In Newcastle West you can see Desmond Castle and in Foynes the Flying Boat Museum. Access to the 40km Limerick Greenway is at Newcastle West or Barna. There are numerous nearby activities where you can enjoy museums, craft shops, commemorative sites, and outdoor activities. Golfing includes the famous links of Ballybunion and the local courses of Adare, Newcastle West and Charleville. Restaurants for all tastes and budgets are available using local produced quality food. The towns and villages in the Shannon Region host an array of different festivals which display the unique culture of Ireland.
