Haggart House is a 19th century heritage farmhouse just 8km from Bantry.

The original farmhouse has a dining room with a tall ceiling adorned with apex beams. The furniture includes the original settee, a church pew and chairs. Heating is provided by a large wood burning stove or electric heaters. There is a large table made from one of the farm’s fallen trees which seats six guests.

Bedroom two in the original farmhouse is furnished as in olden days. The metal framed double bed is dressed with linen. It is accessed by internal or external doors. There is an electric heater and radiator.

The kitchen is fitted with a range of modern appliances and a small breakfast bar for two. The large window opens onto the patio and has views of the mountain. It is accessible from the sitting/dining room or external door.

The modern area contains bedroom one with a king sized bed dressed with linens, down duvet and mattress topper. The large window allows views of the sun and moon rising over Mullagh Méise.

The wet room has a shower, washbasin, toilet, grab rails and heated towel rack. Towels and dressing gowns are provided.

The leisure suite contains a sauna, hydrospa, daybed and swing seat. The area is heated by an antique Danish wood burning stove.

The laundry area is located outside within a garden shed containing a washing machine, a dryer and a toilet.

A sheltered patio with a picnic table and gas BBQ is just outside the large kitchen window. There is a small grass garden to the front and a tarmacked area at the back.

The dining room, bedroom one, the wet room and the leisure suite are wheelchair accessible. The kitchen and bedroom two are not wheelchair accessible.
