Hylands Burren Hotel is a local family owned and managed hotel, centrally located in the unspoilt harbour village of Ballyvaughan, on the mid-point of the Wild Atlantic Way and surrounded by the magical Burren hinterland of Co. Clare. The hotel offers a warm welcome and traditional Irish hospitality that keeps guests returning time after time.

The original part of the hotel dates back to the 18th century. All of the bedrooms have recently been redecorated and include en suite bathroom, TV, WiFi, direct dial telephone, and tea and coffee making facilities.

While room service is available, visitors won’t want to miss the nice ambiance of the new hotel restaurant, which prides itself in using fresh local produce and is an active member of the Burren Food Trail. For a cosy bite to eat in front of the fire, guests can also stop into the traditional Fountain Bar.

Ballyvaughan is a small village with sea fishing, pubs, cafes and awards winning restaurants and craft workshops. The village and its surroundings are perfect for an activity based break, as they boast a number of fantastic walking and hiking routes, golf courses and beaches ideal for both surfing and relaxing.

The Hylands Burren Hotel is well placed for touring the wonderful natural landscape of counties Clare, Limerick and Galway as well as the many tourist attractions along the Wild Atlantic Way including the Burren, Cliff of Moher, Ailwee and Doolin Caves and trips to the Aran Islands.
