The guest lounge has commanding views across the river Fertha to Knocknadobar Mountains. Guests are also welcome to sit outside in the garden and enjoy the long evenings in summer.

Iveragh Heights is on the Kerry way, walkers can avail of transport to and from the Rail. It is possible to avoid the extra Cahersiveen spur by arranging collection from Foilmore and to be left back at Coars in the morning.

Amenities offered such as wet rooms for walkers and cycling gear. Guests who would prefer to relax at the house for the evening can pre arrange an evening meal with advance notice. Packed lunches can also be organised for the morning.

Luggage can be transported to the next accommodation on the Kerry way. Walkers looking to take a day off at this half way point on the trail can have a trip to the Skelligs organised for them, alternatively bicycles can be hired in the town and a trip to Valentia Island comes highly recommended.
