The Kildare House Hotel was purchased by Kelly Moran in 2019. A local lady, from Kildare Town, Kelly had been leasing the property for six years before she purchased it in 2019. The building itself was established in 1777 as an infirmary on a site that was acquired by the Duke of Leinster. Once the sale was completed, Kelly immediately set to work bringing the 18th century building back to life. It is now once again the beating heart of Kildare Town and is popular with locals and visitors alike.
