Afternoon tea welcomes guests to this modern cottage, located on a working organic farm near Kilmore, County Wexford and one of two self-catering cottages. The hosts are happy to provide guided tours of the farm, which is engaged in animal husbandry, so guests can enjoy seeing the calves, cows, sheep, lambs and donkeys.

The cottage is within walking distance of Kilmore Village and is close to local beaches. It has an enclosed garden and furnished patio. Inside there is a spacious open-plan kitchen/living/dining area. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin room. The main bedroom is ensuite, and there is a large family bathroom with separate bath and shower adjacent to the twin bedroom. The cottage is fully equipped, including DVD/CD player, radio, WiFi, dishwasher and full laundry facilities. A welcome tray and consumables are included.

In Kilmore Village, visitors will find two pubs, a chemist, post office/general grocery store and newsagent. Kilmore Quay, about a five-minute drive away, is a nice spot for walking, shopping for arts and crafts, catching fresh fish and enjoying the tasty cuisine in the seafood restaurants and pubs. There are two piers to explore.

From Kilmore Quay, boat charter is available for fishing and trips to the Saltee Islands. The nearest beach is 2km with other beaches locally. The area offers many different activities, such as spa treatments, golf, garden visits, bowling, swimming and more. The owners of the cottage are happy to help guests find activities and attractions that suit their particular needs and interests.

We cater for those with disability, including wheelchair users. The cottages have wet room style showers, at least one downstairs bedroom in each cottage, level access from outside, low level light switches, lever taps and lots of turning space.
