Lafferty’s Holiday Homes offer a development of six detached purpose built Chalets at Faugher, Portnablagh, County Donegal. The port of Portnablagh is located on the shores of Sheephaven Bay and is surrounded by dramatic coastal and mountain scenery.

The Chalets are adjacent to each other making them ideal as a family base accommodation or a fantastic option for groups of up to 36 guests. Each Chalet has three carpeted double bedrooms and can sleep up to six guests. There is a bathroom with bath and shower and a main living room with an open fireplace and TV. The kitchen is fully fitted with electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, outside clothes line, iron and ironing board.

This is a quiet and peaceful location yet only a five minute drive from the shops and pubs in Dunfanaghy and 3km from Dunfanaghy Golf Club. There are two superb beaches in the immediate locality. The scenic Killahoey Beach in nearby Dunfanaghy is a 5km stretch of beautiful sand providing safe swimming spots. The equally wonderful Marble Hill Strand is only 1 km away. Overlooking this sheltered beach is the superb new Shandon Hotel Spa and Wellness Centre. This modern Spa has a hydrotherapy floor and eight treatment rooms.

Just north of Portnablagh lies Horn Head with its striking cliff scenery and a wide variety of bird life. Perhaps the most dramatic of Donegal’s Peninsulas, Horn Head provides stunning scenic drives and numerous scenic walks.

The port of Portnablagh and the nearby village of Dunfanaghy are popular tourist resorts, with lively pubs and a good choice of restaurants. There is something for everyone in this beautiful area, from horse riding to golf, from browsing around the local art galleries to taking leisurely strolls along the magnificent beaches.
