You may notice the curious size of Samson and Delilah, the pet family Jacob sheep, or the happy gathering of hens and ducks, who are so proud of their contribution to the much acclaimed Littlewood breakfast.
In addition to our own free range eggs, all fruits, vegetables, herbs and greens are organically grown in our gardens, together with home baking and locally sourced organic meats, cheese, yogurt, honey and preserves, breakfast at Littlewood is not just the first meal fo the day, but an experience to be treasured!
The desire to linger is often too tempting to resist and for those who do, a myriad of choices exist. A post breakfast three mile looped woodland walk is a perfect intoduction which can be extended to include Durrow Abbey monastic site and view the 6th Century Durrow Cross. Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, Locke's Distillery Museum and Clare Bog are but a ten minute drive, while Lough Boora Parklands, Birr Castle and Clonmacnoise are thirty to forty five minutes.
Your hosts, Lucy and Louis will be pleased to assist wherever possible to ensure that your stay at Littlewood is a truly memorable experience, one described by many as a highlight of their holiday.
