Lough Mask Holidays - Mullach Cottage is located near Tourmakeady, County Mayo, surrounded by mountains along the western shore of Lough Mask, a very scenic peaceful location where people still seem to have all the time in the world to befriend visitors. The mountain ranges and lakes in this area provide the outdoor enthusiast with unlimited scope to enjoy fishing, hill and forest walking, golfing, swimming and horse riding. The wild Atlantic Ocean with its superb beaches is just a 25-minute drive. The pubs are welcoming and there is no shortage of excellent restaurants. The region, which is Gaelic speaking, is an ideal touring base for Connemara.

Mullach Cottage is a 4 star cottage built of native stone in 2006. It is modelled on the traditional cottage found in the area, and is spacious with three en suite bedrooms to sleep up to six people. It also features a separate kitchen/dining area and sitting room with a large open fireplace. The cottage, which is situated about 1km from the lake shore, has breathtaking views of Lough Mask, Lough Carra and the surrounding Partry Mountains. The Gaeltacht village of Tourmakeady, which is 2km away, has shops, pubs and a post office. A small thatched country pub/restaurant is 1km away.
