Lynolan House B&B Dundalk, is situated on a spacious site in a beautiful rural setting 4km south of Dundalk and just 700m from (Junction 16) of the M1 (Dublin to Belfast) Motorway. As Lynolan House is situated midway between these two great cities and only a 40 minute motorway drive from Dublin Airport, it is the ideal base for touring the North East. Evelyn has prepared detailed route maps and tour guides for day trips to cover all the major attractions in the area, southwards taking in Monasterboice Tower, Newgrange, Mellifont Abbey and the Boyne Valley, westwards taking in Kavanagh homeland, Armagh Cathedrals and Observatory, and Navan Forth, northwards taking in the Mountains of Mourne, Silent Valley, Down Patrick. Northwards taking in Giant’s Causeway and back along the North Antrim Coast Local taking in the Cooley Peninsula, Carlingford Lough and the Scenic viewing areas around Dundalk Golfing with booking assistance for all 10 local golf courses Guests will be given advice and assistance to re-arrange trips depending on their particular interest, prevailing weather and opening times. Lynolan House accommodation has been modernised and extended to include six spacious guest bedrooms (two of which are two compartment family rooms) and the following additional facilities for guest’s comfort and use: Guest Lounge/TV room with open-hearth fire (weather permitting!) where guests get their tea and scones on arrival, meet other guests and plan their activities for the following day. Large dining room where all guests can enjoy a hearty, home cooked Irish breakfast and their choice of a wide range of cereals, fruit juices, yogurts, cheeses and fresh fruit from the breakfast bar. A large conservatory (seats over 20 people) is also available with a range of reading materials, tourist information and maps. Spacious (half acre) front and back garden adorned with a range of water features, bedding plants/shrubs, smoking areas, tables and seating for guests comfort and enjoyment.
