Minella Hotel and Leisure Centre is a four star, family run hotel set on 10 acres of garden with walks along the River Suir, just five minutes from the centre of Clonmel, County Tipperary. The estate dates back to 1863.

Minella Hotel and Leisure Centre is nestled between the Comeragh Mountains and the River Suir in Clonmel, County Tipperary. The original Georgian house was built in 1863 and the Minella was opened as a hotel by Mr and Mrs Jack Nallen in 1963.

Minella Hotel and Leisure Centre offers guests a choice of 90 classic and contemporary bedrooms, available in double, twin, triple and family configurations. All rooms are fitted with Smart TVs, WiFi, hospitality tray, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There are also four superior suites with balconies overlooking the River Suir, two of which have an outdoor hot tub.

Club Minella, complimentary to guests, is situated within the hotel grounds and offers extensive fitness equipment, 20 metre swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, an outdoor hot tub overlooking the River Suir and a number of treatment rooms.

The restaurant is renowned for excellent food and hospitable service with an emphasis on sourcing and supporting local Tipperary food produce. The all-day menu served in the bar lounges is popular with locals and guests. Winner of AA Rosette for 8 years & Best Hotel Restaurant in Tipperary.

In and around Minella, visitors will find interesting heritage sites, such as St Patrick’s Well and Carey’s Castle.
