Situated on a private 15 hectare estate with a lake, Mount Cashel self-catering is centrally located near Sixmilebridge, County Clare. There are three 18th century lakeside lodges that have been beautifully restored and awarded a four star rating. The Stables is a four bedroom all ensuite property, which sleeps up to nine people. Two Lodges each feature two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and can sleep up to five people. Each property has a lovely living/kitchen area with a wood burning stove, three-piece suite, satellite TV and Internet WiFi connection. French doors open out onto a private patio, lawn and woods with views and direct access to Castle Lake. The kitchen is also fully equipped for guests' convenience.
Mount Cashel is an idyllic retreat where one can enjoy many activities, such as fishing, boating and sailing. Pike, bream and perch are common species of fish caught. The wooded area provides pleasant walks and numerous opportunities for exploring and bird watching. Meanwhile, further afield guests can find golf courses, cycling routes, equestrian centres, shops, restaurants and nightlife venues. Mount Cashel is also close to Bunratty, the Burren and Cliffs of Moher. Shannon Airport is only 20 minutes away.
