Uniquely located in the world heritage UNESCO parkland of Newgrange and Knowth, Newgrange Lodge is within a one minute walk from the visitor centre to this world famous passage tomb that predates the Pyramids of Eygpt.

The Lodge, formerly an old farmhouse was lovingly restored in 2006 retaining the original old stone walls as an accommodation venue catering for the independent traveller, families and groups alike. Newgrange Lodge offer 22 twin, double, triple and family ensuite rooms as well as larger multi bed rooms that are ideal for catering to large groups.

Currently family owned and operated, the Lodge is the perfect base from which to explore the wonders of the stunning Boyne Valley region including sights such as the Hill of Tara, Trim Castle, Monasterboice, the Battle of the Boyne and the Hill of Slane. The Lodge is conveniently situated for families wishing to visit the nearby local theme park attractions including Newgrange Farm, Funtasia Waterpark and Tayto Park.

Facilities at the Lodge include excellent self-catering kitchens however group meals are provided on request. There are lovely recreation rooms to lounge in including a large tv/reading room, the sun room overlooking an enclosed court yard and the downstairs lounge room with fireplace. BBQ facilities are offered for guest use on the outdoor picnic areas with super views of the valley and Dowth and Newgrange.
