Newpark House, in Ennis County Clare, is a family run historic house boasting the elegance of a bygone era while providing all the comforts of modern living.

Newpark House is set between groves of ancient Irish oak, beech, lime and poplar trees in Ennis County Clare. It is so well hidden away that it is hard to believe that Newpark House is just a stone’s throw from the bustling town of Ennis.

Run by Bernie Barron and her family, this oasis allows one to experience the elegance of a traditional Irish country house bed and breakfast, with all the comforts of modern living.

Each of the large comfortable guest bedrooms at Newpark House are ensuite with bathroom and shower facilities. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture and a number of the rooms also boast decadent canopy beds.

Breakfast at Newpark House is served around a main table in the old country house style dinning room. Breakfast caters for all tastes: there are cereals, yoghurts or a selection of fruits available for the health conscious and there is also the option of a traditional full Irish breakfast to really set you up for the day.

One can spend an afternoon browsing through the large library at Newpark House which specialises in history and genealogy. If you are interested in learning more about Irish genealogy there is a professional genealogist on hand to answer all your questions.

Newpark House is close to the tourism attractions of Bunratty Castle and the Shannon Estuary. It is also in a convenient location to explore the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and the town of Doolin.

At Newpark House you can leave the hustle and bustle of life behind you, stepping back into a bygone era.
