The building itself dates back to around 1780, originally serving as part of a network of brewery warehouses. Over the years, its walls have housed everything from storehouses and slaughterhouses to animal shelters and hatcheries. In 1991, it was lovingly transformed into a hostel, with modern updates and amenities added over time while preserving its distinctive character.
