Robertstown Holiday Village self-catering holiday cottages comprises eight holiday cottages near Naas in County Kildare.
Each of the cottages has their own entrance and a patio area with a garden leading to the Grand Canal. The unpaying guests, the local resident duck family, may call for breakfast, so have some bread ready. WiFi is available for free in each cottage.
The cottages are bright, spacious and tastefully decorated with guests' comfort and relaxation in mind. The cottages have two bedrooms, one of which has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two large single beds. Each self-catering cottage sleeps four to five adults plus a baby cot. Bedrooms can be changed to all single beds or two double rooms on request. Additional sleeping is available on the sofa bed in the living room for a fifth person. The kitchens in all of the holiday cottages are fully equipped and all bed linen and towels are provided free of charge. The living room has comfy armchairs, sofa, TV and an open peat fire. There is also ample onsite private parking and a playground area. All the cottages are on ground level and suitable for wheelchair users.
The cottages are ideally located for enjoying a sightseeing holiday of the country, or a quiet retreat. There is angling on the Grand and Royal Canals and the many rivers nearby such as the River Liffey, Slate and Barrow. Golfers can choose from the K Club, Carton House, Highfield, Millicent, Naas and Woodlands Golf Clubs. There is nearby horse racing at Punchestown, Naas or The Curragh. For the more historically minded there are numerous heritage houses and heritage sites in Kildare including St Brigid's Well.
The village of Robertstown is just a two minute stroll from the self-catering cottages and it is renowned for its ‘watering holes’ with local singers and traditional music that can be heard in any of the three pubs, so you can drop in to round off your day at the heart and soul of the village. Also in Robertstown there is a mini-market for guests everyday needs and a traditional Irish grocery shop selling everything from a needle to an anchor.
