San Antoine situated on the Wild Atlantic Way is only a short walk into the town of Cahersiveen the home of the 'Liberator', Daniel O'Connell who's name is given to the Catholic Church in the town centre. In the Church grounds you can see the grave of Monsignor Hugh O'Flaherty, known as the Scarlet Pimpernel of the Vatican who during the second World War was responsible for saving over 6,500 allied soldiers and Jews . San Antoine itself is set in peaceful landscaped gardens overlooking the bay with sea sports available in Valentia, Link's golf course in Waterville, blue flag sandy beaches and scenic walks locally. Explore Ballycarbery Castle and the two Ring Forts in the area. Take a hike up Cnoc na dTobar, one of only 12 Pilgrim Paths in Ireland which offers majestic views of the Peninsula. If lucky enough to secure a space on one of the landing boats to the Skelligs one will be transported to a time where monks lived in solitude and more recently a retreat for those in Jedi costume. San Antoine has been a family-run B&B for over 60 years and we look forward to welcoming visitors to our lovely part of the world.
