Seacrest is a Bed and Breakfast situated in the heart of Kilronan Village overlooking Kilronan beach on Inis Mór.

Seacrest is a Bed and Breakfast situated in the heart of Kilronan Village overlooking Kilronan beach on Inis Mór. Seacrest is a five minute walk from Kilronan harbour and a minutes' walk to restaurants, pubs, craft shops and the tourist information centre.

Inis Mór, the largest of the three Aran Islands is situated nine miles from Galway's coastline and can be reached by taking the ferry from Rossaveal or Doolin and by plane from Inverin Airport.

The island is nine miles long and about two miles wide, and is mostly made of Burren limestone rock. The small fields are surrounded by stone walls. The Islanders use the language of Irish every day. The island is one of the last places in Ireland where the ancient Celtic language is preserved.

The island has four Celtic stone forts and includes the spectacular cliff top fort of Dun Aonghasa. Inis Mór was also an important centre for early Irish Christianity. The remains of several ancient churches and monasteries can be found on the island.

There are several biological and geological attractions on Inis Mór including the seal colony, as well as miles of limestone landscape with some of the most spectacular cliff coastline in Europe.
