Sheilas Tourist Hostel is a comfortable, family owned budget accommodation situated right in the heart of Cork City. The hostel prides itself on its friendly atmosphere, excellent facilities and host of extra amenities.

For a stay in the heart of Cork City, travellers can chose Sheila’s, a hostel located within walking distance of the railway and bus stations, shops, pubs and restaurants. The budget accommodation boasts a friendly atmosphere and clean, modern facilities to ensure guests make the most of their time in Cork.

Sheila’s has all kinds of rooms, including four, eight and 10 bed dorms, private twin and double ensuite rooms and family rooms. There are fully stocked kitchens, a cinema, sauna, personal lockers and free WiFi. The hostel is staffed 24 hours a day.

A stay in Cork has endless opportunities for activities and sightseeing. Visitors won’t want to miss ringing the Bells of Shandon, and visiting St Finbarre’s and St Mary’s cathedrals the Medieval Red Abbey and the English Market.

Cork City is also a wonderful base for touring the region. About 10km northwest of the city, people will find (and kiss) the famous Blarney Stone. The Fota Wildlife Park, one of the region’s top attractions, is situated only 20 minutes east of Cork. Another wonderful day trip option is Cobh, a picturesque port town known for its connection to Irish emigration and the ill fated Titanic. It is a 30 minute drive from Cork City.
