Slane Farm Hostel and Cottages are situated on the grounds of a family-run dairy farm in Harlinstown Village, County Meath. The historic coach house and stables that once belonged to Slane Castle have been respectfully refurbished and converted into a luxury hostel and six self-catering cottages. Additionally, the property includes a campsite.
The hostel offers dormitories and private rooms, all ensuite and with linen provided. Guests can make use of free WiFi, a self-catering kitchen, barbecue, dining area, living room, TV/games room and laundry facilities.
They can pass the time strolling through the gardens, looking at the farming enterprise and even picking up some free-range eggs and fresh vegetables. They can also explore the region's many historic sites, such as Monasterboice, Mellifont Abbey, Newgrange and Trim Castle.
