At Strasburgh Manor, all guests are offered a warm welcome by Bernadette and Michael Barry. The house is located near Shannon Airport in majestic County Clare, midway between Connemara and the lakes of Killarney.
Strasburgh Manor has historical links dating back to the 18th century. It was part of the Strasburgh House estate, which at one time comprised nearly 100 hectares. Today, the two beautifully renovated, stone-cut buildings that were former coach houses provide self-catering accommodation for holidaymakers.
One of the houses has two bedrooms, while the other has four. Both combine old-world charm, such as cedar beams and traditional stone fireplaces, with modern amenities. Each has a fully equipped kitchen, central heating, washing machine, dryer and TV. They come with bed linen, towels, hair dryer and ironing facilities, while baby-related services (baby-sitting service, cot, etc.) are available on request.
Strasburgh Manor is perfectly situated for an activity-based or touring holiday, as well as sheer relaxation. The area offers excellent angling, walking trails, horse riding, golf, cycling, diving, caving, water sports and much more.
