Teac Chondai Thatched Cottage along the Wild Atlantic Way offers 4 star accommodation in a traditional Donegal Cottage with up to four large bedrooms, guest lounges, cooking facilities and guest dining room available.

Teac Chondai Thatched Cottage is located in the picturesque village of Loughanure, County Donegal and is a great location for a short holiday break, whether you want activity or water sports, sightseeing or exploring, a regional culinary experience or just a relaxing break reading in front of a turf fire in the guests lounge, Teac Chondai and this region of Donegal offers it all. The cottage has parking for up to four cars and a large enclosed lawned garden ideal for kids to play in.

‘Loughanure’ (or in Gaelic ‘Loch An Luir’) means "the lake of the yew tree" is a 4km long deep water mountain lake adjacent to the cottage and village and has fishing for wild salmon, rainbow trout and brown trout native only to this lake. Boat hire is available through the local boat club, or joining in with share with the local fishing men.

The cottage overlooks the loch and the surrounding mountains of Glenveagh National Park with fantastic and spectacular walks with chances of meeting wild deer. The local thatched pub and restaurant and local shop with cafe are just 100 metres away and Carrickfinn Blue Flag Beach is only a few minutes drive.

If you want to fly/drive, the cottage is only ten minutes from Donegal's airport with daily flights from/to Dublin and Glasgow with costs as low as €30. Car hire is available from Enterprise Rent A Car and there are also numerous, good value local taxi and mini-bus services.
