The Apple Camping and Caravan Park is a friendly site located just a short distance from Cahir in County Tipperary. The award winning park is a small, family run business and can cater for up to 60 people per night. The spacious camp site is located on a fruit farm and orchard with apples, pears, plums, sweet cherries, strawberries and raspberries.
On arrival, all guests receive a warm Irish welcome along with a bottle of the farm’s award-winning apple juice. The facilities are maintained to a high standard and include a camper’s kitchen, 15amp electricity connections, water supply, hot showers and hardstands. In an effort to be environmentally friendly, the site heats water by solar array and includes a recycling point. Also, visitors can make use of the new, full size tennis court and pick up fruit, jams and more in the shop.
The Apple Camping and Caravan Park serves as an ideal base for touring counties Tipperary, Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Limerick, Clare and Kilkenny. Nearby local attractions include Cahir Castle, St Patrick’s Well, Bru Boru Cultural Centre and Mitchelstown Cave.
