The Bridge Tavern is located in the heart of Wicklow Town, sitting alongside the Vartry River. The building dates back to the early 1700s and has been restored by The Byrne Family.

The Bridge Tavern is steeped in Wicklow history, it was formally run as an Inn by the Halpin Family in the 1800s and it was in this very building that the pioneering Captain Robert Halpin was born. The staff will be happy to provide guests with more details of his life.

There is a number of bedrooms available. All rooms are en suite and non smoking and the rate includes a cooked breakfast. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities and free WiFi.

The Bridge Tavern is situated in the town with easy access to explore the rest of the beautiful Garden County. It is situated close to many world famous attractions such as Powerscourt Estate, Glendalough and Mount Usher Gardens. The Bridge Tavern is a previous winner of Best Eating Establishment in Wicklow. The menus are dedicated to taste and presentation and traditional dishes take on a modern twist. Only the best quality ingredients, which are sourced locally, are used.
