The Glenmalure Lodge is a friendly, family-run bed and breakfast with a cosy pub atmosphere. Containing lots of old memorabilia, and paying homage to the area’s rich and colourful history, there are open fires and great food with plenty of good comfortable seating, all adding to its interesting character and old world charm.
There are 14 bedrooms in the Glenmalure Lodge, with 11 double/twin, and three family rooms. All rooms are en suite. Some rooms date from the original building and have recently been renovated to retain their old world charm. The bedrooms to the front of the Lodge look out across the valley to Fananieren Mountain.
The Glenmalure Lodge is located in the centre of the Garden County and is within a short driving distance of several of Wicklow’s finest golf courses. Horse riders, whether beginners and experienced can avail of the Equestrian Centre at Macreddin where trail riding, trekking, or hacking can be arranged.
