This self-catering property just outside the town of Killarney, is an ideal base for walking and touring, not only Killarney itself, but it is the perfect start and finishing point for exploring the Killarney National Park, The Ring of Kerry, The Dingle Peninsula and beyond. Killarney’s wild and mountainous countryside is spectacular to explore in any season, whether you are hiking Ireland's highest mountain, cycling the paths of the Killarney National Park or kayaking in the lakes. The charm of the cottage makes it feel like your home away from home. This three bedroom farmhouse has been renovated over the years to provide guests with inviting accommodation. The cottage can cater for up to six people.
This three bedroom house has one double, one king, and one twin bedroom. The upstairs bathroom has a bath and the downstairs bathroom has an electric shower. Linen and towels are provided for your stay. The kitchen/dining area is equipped with a fridge, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and nespresso coffee machine. The sitting room contains a solid fuel stove, smart TV, books, board games and comfortable seating for six guests. Free fibre broadband is available throughout the house. The property has oil fired central heating and triple glazed windows, ensuring a really warm atmosphere. All utilities and fuel are included in the nightly rate.
There is parking space for up to four cars outside the cottage. Guests have two private gardens with outdoor seating, a barbeque and sun loungers. There is a stone shed containing a washing machine and dryer and it can also be used if guests wish to store personal belongings or equipment.
Killarney Town is only a 20 minute walk or a five minute drive from the cottage. A car is advised when staying, but is not essential. The house is 1.5km from the Killarney bus and train stations, 17km from Kerry Airport and 88km from Cork Airport.
