Guests staying in this peaceful and relaxing County Galway farmhouse will feel right at home and yet will be aware that they are on the very edge of Europe, as they gaze over Cleggan Bay and out towards the Atlantic Ocean. Its coastal position makes The Ocean Wave B&B the perfect base to head out on a fishing trip, take time to catch sight of leaping dolphins or enjoy a round of golf close to the water’s edge. Guests are also in the heart of Connemara, with its unique landscapes that are perfect for pony trekking, mountain climbing and guided heritage tours.
The house is easy to find, just six kilometres off the N59 road. It’s close to the charming fishing harbour at Cleggan, which offers trips out to Inishboffin island and where you can relax and enjoy some traditional music in the village pubs.
