The 3 star Olde Post Inn is situated N54 Cavan/Clones Rd just 9km north of Cavan Town. The guesthouse was once an old stone building which once served as local post office until 1974. Guesthouse has won many awards for its fine food and service.

Originally a post office until 1974, The Olde Post Inn guesthouse consists of six newly refurbished double rooms, all with ensuite facilities. The bedrooms are all located in the original part of the postmaster's residence. Each bedroom comes equipped with TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron, goose down feather pillows and quilts.

Located in County Cavan, the Olde Post Inn offers a host of activities and adventure on the doorstep, including walking, angling and cruising the Shannon and Erne Rivers. From the Marble Arch Geopark, recognised by UNESCO, to golf at the championship course at Slieve Russell to off-road buggies and solo hovercrafting in Ballyconnell, you will find something for everyone in Cavan.
