The Railway Hostel is a family run business and a home away from home. It is suitable for a short term stay and a good place to break up a journey.

The building is Victorian and retains all the distinguished features of this era. Inside there is a winding staircase and a beautiful display of cut stone. It is a fresh sun lit building.

The Railway Hostel has two dormitories, one four bed and one five bed, there are also three private rooms composed of two double rooms and one twin room. There are three bathrooms with showers. The kitchen lounge is bright and welcoming, with the benefit of being a sun trap in the morning and late evening.

There are no cookers, however there is a microwave and all the necessary equipment for a basic meal. All health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to and guarantee all guests a safe and relaxing stay.

Facilities include, free car parking, free WiFi, smoke free, luggage storage, laundry, guest kitchen and lounge area, TV, wheelchair accessible. Bed sheets are provided and towels are available for a small fee. No curfew and flexible checkout. All ages welcome.
