In 1981, Thelma and Chris Slattery bought this old station house and lovingly transformed it into a unique Country House Hotel. Over 30 years later the hotel still retains its charm with many of the original features still in place. The original Signal House has been transformed into a two bedroomed suite. Separate from the hotel, it’s the only one of its kind in Ireland.
The hotel has 20 ensuite rooms equipped with all modern facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All the rooms offer WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities, crisp white linen, ironing facilities, telephones, in room electronic safe, TV and various shampoo and lotions.
Dine in vintage style in the old world charm of the award winning Signal Restaurant. The restaurant has received many awards including the Michelin Guide and Georgina Campbell has also listed the Signal Restaurant as being one of the top ten places to enjoy Sunday Lunch. For more casual dining we have the Platform Bar and Lounge and the outdoor patio overlooking the gardens is perfect for Afternoon Tea on a sunny day.
The hotel can also be booked out for a private party or event, with our Carriage Suite ideal for events and parties.
Located just 20 minutes from Dublin the hotel is in the heart of the Boyne Valley. Situated only 6km from Navan/Trim and Dunshaughlin and minutes from the N3 and M3 the Station House Hotel is easily accessible. The location makes it the ideal place to explore all that Co. Meath has to offer.
Nestled in twelve acres of woodland and beautiful landscaped gardens, this idyllic hideaway is ideal for a relaxing break. For the more adventurous there is a wealth of activities on your doorstep. Some of Meath’s finest golf courses are only 3km away. Fairyhouse and Navan race courses are only 4-6km away. Renowned for its friendly staff and home from home atmosphere, The staff look forward to welcoming you to the Station House Hotel.
