The White Cottage is a three bedroomed well-appointed modern cottage, 5km from Oughterard, near Aughnanure Castle in County Galway. The garden runs down to the shore of Lough Corrib, with access to the lake. The cottage is situated on a quiet minor road, with its own 100 metre drive, garage and ample parking.

Accommodation comprises of the main living/kitchen area, with dining suite, three piece suite, Sky multi-channel TV, DVD, radio, VCR and electric, log-effect stove. Northward is the view over the lake, while to the south the view is of the hills. The modern fitted kitchen includes electric cooker with oven and grill, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher and normal kitchen equipment. There is a separate guest toilet off the rear porch and a washer/dryer in the utility room.

There are three bedrooms: one large double bedroom, overlooking the lake, with an ensuite shower and toilet; a twin bedroom, facing south, also with ensuite shower and toilet; and a large studio bedroom containing a double and a single bed, with shower and toilet ensuite. This room has French windows opening towards the lake. Bed linen, hand and bath towels are provided.

Oughterard, 5km away, has interesting shops, restaurants and pubs. There is an angling centre close by and Oughterard 18-hole championship golf course is only 1km from the cottage. The White Cottage is within easy reach of the beautiful beaches, Connemara National Park, the Twelve Bens, Clifden and Roundstone, the Burren and only 15 minutes from Galway City.
