Westcove House, The Stables and Garden Cottage are three properties overlooking the sea on the Southern tip of the "Ring of Kerry", which are ideal for reunions, get-togethers and celebrations of special occasions, sleeping up to 26.
Westcove House comfortably sleeps 10 while the converted Stables and wonderfully restored Garden Cottage sleep 11 and five respectively.
The elegant dining room in Westcove House, with wonderful views across the sea to the Beara mountains, comfortably seats 18 to a maximum of 22 and various delicious catering options can be provided. We can seat up to 55 in our games/function room where live music/dancing can also be arranged.
The games/function room is also ideal for holding talks, classes, activities and demonstrations for a wide variety of interest groups. Art groups delight in the north-facing studio, while walking groups can revive weary muscles in our sauna after a day's rambling. Golf courses in our area are among the best in the world and within an hours drive find several top class facilities making Westcove also an ideal base for golfers.
Pier Cottage is a pair of converted, inter-connecting, coastguard cottages sleeping two to 11 people stunningly situated right by the water's edge. The cottage is occasionally let as additional accommodation to the Westcove properties described above, it is under ten minutes’ walk away and is mostly let out, totally separately, as an idyllic self-catering retreat.
Westcove is on the "Wild Atlantic Way" and is within the recently designated International Dark Sky Reserve, the only Gold Tier Reserve in the Northern Hemisphere, and one of only three worldwide.
