The Burren National Park is especially rich in terms of flora and fauna, containing many rare and sought after species. It is a diverse archaeological landscape with a wealth of heritage and culture to explore. Walking and cycling are popular pursuits in the area as well as surfing, horse riding and all outdoor activities.
Close by is the traditional Irish music village of Doolin, where there are daily ferry crossings to the Aran Islands. The world famous Cliffs of Moher are a few miles further along the coast. Lahinch and Fanore are good surfing and swimming beaches and are within easy reach.
