Located near the bustle of Gorey in County Wexford, Woodlands Country House B&B is an ivy-clad, period house boasting woodland walks and a tennis court. All of the guestrooms here are lovingly furnished with grand four-poster bed, period furnishings and toiletries. Three of the guestrooms come with their own private balcony. Walkers are welcome to stroll via the house’s woodland to the local village while Green and Red walking routes are also signposted nearby. Those wishing to practice their backhand can do so on the on-site tennis court (racquets and balls provided) or enjoy the games room inside the house. The house dates back as far as 1836 and guests will no doubt enjoy the intriguing tales of the history of this great residence.

The charming medieval cities of Waterford, with its wonderful Viking heritage, and Kilkenny with its epic castle, are just one hour’s drive away. Visitors traveling via Rosslare Ferry Port will be just 45 minutes away from the house, making it very convenient for those travelling to Ireland by sea.
