Arriving at Woodvilla is special with the tree-lined avenue leads to Woodvilla House, a stunning piece of Georgian architecture, lovingly restored through the years. The adjoining self-catering lodge was built in harmony with the house to a high standard, stylishly decorated with some delightful features of its own.
Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table, comfortably seating ten people. Leading out to a sheltered patio area, the evening sun bathes this corner of the property making it a good spot for a barbecue on a summer’s evening. Meantime the children can play in the large private garden.
Upstairs is the main living area. A wood burning stove creates a cosy area. Double doors lead onto a balcony with panoramic views of the gardens and surrounding area including Forth Mountain. Free WiFi is available throughout the house.
There are five bedrooms, four doubles and one twin room, with ample storage facilities and comfortable beds dressed in quality bed linen. Towels are provided and a cot is available upon request at no extra charge. Two of the bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom.
