Garden and outdoor lovers invited to Snowdrop Time in Carlow – welcoming the first signs of Spring. The delicate white and green blooms emerging from the soil signal fresh beginnings and the start of the annual gardening calendar.
At Arboretum’s Inspirational Gardens in Leighlinbridge, thousands of snowdrops awaken the gardens each year. Founder Rachel Doyle describes them as the flowers that signal the beginning of the gardening year, with varieties such as Galanthus ‘Flore Pleno’ and ‘Mount Everest’ bringing early interest. Potted bulbs also available in store including ‘Mount Everest’ and ‘Nivalis’. Beyond its snowdrop displays, Arboretum is a family-friendly gardening destination, with a kitchen store, boutique, health and wellness offerings, a garden maze and a children’s play area, ensuring there’s something for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
