Mountain Adventures 74 are based at Tullow, County Carlow. As approved course directors of the Mountain Training Board Ireland, they run Mountain Skills 1 and 2 which are nationally accredited courses.
The aim of the Mountain Skills course is to help you learn the skills you need to become a competent navigator in the wilderness of the Irish mountains, the UK and beyond. During the course, you will learn how to use a map and a compass in any kind of weather conditions, in addition to other skills.
Mountain Adventures 74 also provide day and weekend hikes to some of the most remote places in Ireland. Mountain Adventures 74 have a broad knowledge of most places in Ireland, therefore their hikes are not only enjoyable but educational as well.
