A visit to Danny Vincent Smith’s Gallery gives the opportunity to view his original paintings of people, places and Irish culture along the Wild Atlantic Way. Admission is by appointment only
A self-taught artist, born in the coastal town of Bantry, he spends his time painting the unique character and beauty of Ireland.
Smith travels around Ireland on his motor bike glimpsing the stories of individuals along the way; visiting horse fairs in Kenmare, fishing villages in Ardmore, documenting busy street scenes in Dublin, lighthouses in County Clare and musicians performing at the fleadh cheoil in Ennis.
Danny finds inspiration from the people and places he finds along the way. Working quickly he creates scenes, portraits and landscapes with his own unique style, use of colour and brush work. Driven by passion and a talent for observation he attempts to capture the magic of the people he meets and their lives.
Smith’s work can be viewed in galleries throughout Ireland and his paintings are collected internationally.
By appointment only.
