A warm welcome awaits all golfers to Douglas Golf Club, an 18-hole parkland course, which has challenging features and stunning views over Cork City and the Inner Harbour.

Douglas Golf Club was founded in 1909 and is located on the fringe of Cork City. Its golf course was originally designed by six-time British Open Championship winner Harry Vardon and later extended and remodelled by the renowned course architect, Alister MacKenzie, in 1924.

Douglas Golf Club has hosted numerous national and international Championships throughout the years and has previously been voted as 'Best Parkland Course in Munster' by Golfers Guide to Ireland. The golf course, which is immaculately presented all year round is renowned for having some of the best conditioned greens and putting surfaces in Ireland. Set on a plateau overlooking Cork City and the Inner Harbour, the 115 acres of century old woodland provides the course with a secluded and relaxing atmosphere that is rare for its central location.

In recent years, it has also added two dedicated short game areas, a 6-hole par 3 course as well as two instruction and club fitting facilities by way of meeting the needs of every dedicated golfer. In addition to playing the course, visitors can enjoy full use of the new clubhouse facilities. The dining room, bar and meeting rooms can cater for any event. The golf shop also provides a wide range of golf clothing and equipment.

A mere 5 minute drive from both Cork City centre and Cork airport, Douglas Golf Club is the perfect venue for any golf outing.
