Located in Cork City, Jacques is a busy, fun restaurant with a serious attitude about food cooked in an imaginative way. The emphasis is on quality and value, with much of the produce sourced locally. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday.

Having been in business for 30 years, Jacques Restaurant has built up a great network of growers and suppliers, gaining access to the best raw ingredients in Cork. The aim of the Cork City restaurant is to serve simple yet fresh food bursting with flavour, in a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Jacques has recently extended their premises into 23 Oliver Plunkett street, facilitating a new coffee house, which is open from 10.00a.m. Monday through Saturday. Informal tapas are served Tuesday through Saturday from 5.30 p.m.

Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday from 6.00p.m to 10.00p.m. Early Bird menus are available all night Tuesday through Thursday and before 7.00p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Patrons can enjoy local beef, lamb, fish, wild game in season and wonderful cheese. As with the food, Jacques traces its wine from small independent wine makers.

It has been included in Tom Dooley's Best 50, the Bridgestone 100 Best Restaurants in Ireland and Time Magazine, and has won many awards, including Georgina Campbell 2008, Best Restaurant for Natural Food. Jacques is also Michelin approved.
