Nano Nagle Birthplace is a heritage, spirituality and ecology centre located on an organic farm 11kms from Mallow, on the N72 road from Mallow to Fermoy in County Cork.

The Nano Nagle Birthplace in County Cork is run by the Presentation Sisters and here marks the birthplace of their foundress Nano Nagle. The place has an inherent tranquillity and is a great location for those looking for time out in a natural peaceful setting. Spiritual, environmental, and sustainability programmes are organised, and conferences and day away programmes are hosted. It is located along the River Blackwater on a 32 acre certified organic farm.

The Heritage and Organic Farm Tour, including The Cosmic Walk, is a 2km walk around the farm and river, telling the story of the evolution of the universe. The Heritage Room takes you back to the time of the Nagle Family in 18th century Ireland during the penal times, telling the story of Nano Nagle and her beginnings which led to the foundation of the Presentation Sisters. Off the Heritage Room is the Icon Room which houses a large icon of Nano Nagle created by artist Desmond Kyne.

Visitors can stay on site and experience living on an Irish organic farm which is home to cattle, donkeys and a variety of crops grown in the polytunnel. There is a fishing rod license available for those who wish to fish on the river and a farmers’ market is held on site every second Saturday morning.

Nano Nagle Birthplace also provides courses in spirituality, ecology, sustainability, crafts, meditation and yoga.
