Quay Co-op
Cork City, Co. Cork
Founded in 1982, the Quay Co-op is an institution to the people of Cork City. Three shops and a restaurant provide quality, wholesome foods, such as homemade breads, soups and top natural ingredients.

To the people of Cork, the Quay Co-op is an institution. It is a workers' op-operative based on Sullivan’s Quay, in the heart of Cork City, just across from the tourist office. It includes an acclaimed vegetarian restaurant, in-house bakery and three whole food shops in Cork City, Ballincollig and Carrigaline.

The Quay Co-op is committed to providing quality wholesome foods. Visitors will find homemade breads and soups as well as the best natural ingredients from local suppliers and abroad. The shops boast a vast product line and competitive prices on organic and natural goods.

Additionally, the brightly decorated restaurant can seat 85 people in a self-service atmosphere. The menu changes daily but the basic structure remains the same, with two fresh soups and two special dishes every day. The restaurant also serves lasagne, pizzas, burgers and tarts. Great effort and creativity goes into making the food, as quality ingredients are used to cater for vegan, vegetarian, coeliac and allergy sensitive customers. The Co-op is also a child friendly premises.
