Join us to celebrate the drama and rich imagination of Baroque music performed by some of Ireland’s finest young string, woodwind, and harpsichord players. The programme 'Suite Dreams' includes music by Purcell, Marcello and Telemann.
From the dreamlike world of The Fairy Queen, with its fairy dances, enchanted scenes and midsummer romances, to Telemann’s playful musical portrait of Don Quixote the programme captures the energy and exuberance of Baroque music.

The concert marks the culmination of a week-long course in historical performance, bringing together young musicians from across Ireland to study and perform Baroque repertoire in historically informed styles.
This concert offers the opportunity to hear outstanding young musicians perform timeless music under the historic bells of Shandon.
