Established in 1997 by Stephen and Gillian O’Donovan, The Brick Oven is a popular family-run restaurant serving delicious pizzas, steaks, and seafood in the heart of Bantry.

A range of daily specials are on offer reflecting the best of the day’s catch. Try local scallops, mussels and monkfish to get a taste of Bantry Bay’s seafood, or enjoy a glass of wine with one of the delicious homemade pizzas baked freshly for you in the wood-burning brick oven. The Brick Oven has an authentic wood burning pizza oven, which is kept at a temperature of 500-550F by burning oak.

You’ll be able to choose from a range of steaks, meats, salads and pasta dishes to suit all tastes and budgets. The easygoing atmosphere makes this a great place for a quick bite while you explore the town, or for a cosy evening meal. Eat there on a Friday to enjoy the sights and sounds of Bantry Farmers’ Market outside in Wolfe Tone Square.

The Brick Oven is centrally-located in Bantry within easy walking distance of Bantry House & Gardens and The Maritime Hotel. It’s a place where children and adults will all enjoy their meal, and larger groups are welcome too.
