The Brick Oven in County Cork was established in 1997 by Stephen and Gillian O’Donovan. It is a popular family run restaurant serving delicious pizzas, steaks, and seafood in the heart of Bantry.
A range of daily specials are on offer reflecting the best of the day’s catch. Try local scallops, mussels and monkfish to get a taste of Bantry Bay’s seafood, or enjoy a glass of wine with one of the delicious homemade pizzas baked freshly for you in the wood burning brick oven. The Brick Oven has an authentic wood burning pizza oven, which is kept at a temperature of 500-550F by burning oak.
You will be able to choose from a range of steaks, meats, salads and pasta dishes to suit all tastes and budgets. The easy going atmosphere makes this a great place for a quick bite while you explore the town, or for a cosy evening meal. Eat there on a Friday to enjoy the sights and sounds of Bantry Farmers' Market outside in Wolfe Tone Square.
The Brick Oven is centrally located in Bantry Town and is within easy walking distance of Bantry House and Gardens, and The Maritime Hotel. It is a place where children and adults will all enjoy their meal. Larger groups are also welcome.
