Jack Torrance takes a job as the winter caretaker of a hotel high in the Rocky Mountains. He, along with his wife and young son, will be isolated from the outside world until spring. But this hotel has a dark history and Jack starts to fall under the influence of supernatural powers lurking within the building. THE SHINING is Stanley Kubrick's disturbing adaptation of Stephen King's blockbuster novel and is rightly considered to be one of the finest horror films of all time.
We will be screening the extended cut of the film, which is 25 minutes longer than the version originally released in Ireland.
